The New England Patriots went back to the basics in the third quarter of their Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Relying primarily on their ground game, they drove 66 yards in 11 plays to go up 20-17 with 12:43 left in the game.
While Antonio Gibson also contributed some good runs, the bulk of the work was once again carried by Rhamondre Stevenson — including the final snap of the series. On that play, the Patriots lined up in a wildcat formation with Stevenson as the lone backfield player and quarterback Jacoby Brissett moving out wide.
