The New England Patriots will roll out the red carpet for the visiting Seattle Seahawks in Sunday's home opener at Gillette Stadium.
Both teams squeaked out Week 1 victories with the Patriots upsetting the Cincinnati Bengals and the Seahawks defeating the Denver Broncos. Few expected New England to even hang with Cincinnati, much less beat them at Paycor Stadium.
But this Patriots team doesn't look like the walking disaster it was last season.
The defense is still playing elite football, and the offense is avoiding the costly turnovers that sent the team to an early grave in 2023.
