The New England Patriots’ six-game losing streak is a thing of the past. Despite losing starting quarterback Drake Maye to a concussion in the second quarter, the team of first-year head coach Jerod Mayo was able to beat the visiting New York Jets with a final score of 25-22 on Sunday.
The decisive score came with just 22 seconds left on the clock. Down five points, the Patriots faced a 4th-and-goal from the Jets 1-yard. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson was able to break the plane to give his team the lead and, ultimately, its second victory of the season.
