Patriots vs. Giants recap: Quarterback change can't provide spark in 10-7 loss

In the New England Patriots return from the bye, their offensive struggles continued. After two poor interceptions, Mac Jones was benched for the fourth time this season. Turning to Bailey Zappe, things weren’t much better in the second half.

Zappe did lead a touchdown drive but his own interception gifted New York three points. With a chance then to tie the game, Chad Ryland’s 35-yard field goal missed left dropping New England to 2-9 on the year.
