Jabrill Peppers’ future with the New England Patriots very much hang in the balance after his arrest in early October. Charged with multiple offenses including assault and battery, he was sent to the commissioner’s exempt list and publicly deemed a candidate for release by team owner Robert Kraft.
While his long-term outlook remains unclear until a jury trial in January, Peppers will be back on the field on Sunday. The Patriots made him active for their Week 13 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
The 29-year-old, who was reinstated by the NFL on Monday, will therefore make his comeback after missing the previous eight games.
