The New England Patriots began preparations for the Cleveland Browns without five members of the active roster, including Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson.
Both running backs reside in the NFL’s concussion protocol after exiting four minutes apart in the fourth quarter last weekend against the Carolina Panthers. Prior to then, they had combined for 139 scrimmage yards and one touchdown through 28 touches at Bank of America Stadium.
Returner Gunner Olszewski and linebacker Jamie Collins also did not practice on Wednesday due to a concussion and an ankle ailment, respectively, while New England sack leader Matt Judon was absent following the birth of his third child.
