Shaq Mason returned to the New England Patriots’ practice fields on Thursday.
The starting right guard, now with a renovated contract that frees $1.4 million in cap space, according to ESPN’s Field Yates, did not participate in New England’s walkthrough the day prior due to an ankle injury. Mason would proceed to be listed as limited.
Here’s the second injury report heading into Sunday’s 4:25 p.m. ET matchup with the Cleveland Browns at Gillette Stadium.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
With wide receiver Josh Gordon now on injured reserve, New England’s lone non-participants Thursday were a pair of tight ends.
