Patriots turn to the community on Day 2 of minicamp

Mandatory minicamp looked a little different for the New England Patriots on Tuesday. Instead of taking the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium, the team instead focused on giving back to the community.

With practice cancelled, the Patriots roster and coaching staff split into four groups to attend four different community events. That included a group visiting the Perkins Community Center/Lee School in Dorchester, that featured Jerod Mayo, Drake Maye, and others.

During the two hour event, players and coaches took on students in dodgeball, basketball, badminton, and several other activities — which got rather competitive and left some players joking it was a better workout than practice anyway.
