Four members of the New England Patriots’ practice squad have been called up for Sunday’s visit to NRG Stadium, including former Houston Texans undrafted free agent James Ferentz.
The veteran interior lineman will serve as a Covid-19 replacement along with defensive back Myles Bryant. In addition, guards Alex Redmond and Will Sherman will serve as standard elevations.
Ferentz, 32, has appeared in 24 games and notched four starts for New England since arriving in 2017. The Iowa product made previous NFL stops with Houston and the Denver Broncos, earning a pair of Super Bowl rings.
