Less than two weeks after permitting him to seek a trade, the New England Patriots have indeed moved Davon Godchaux. The defensive tackle, who has been with the team since 2021, has been sent to the New Orleans Saints.
The Patriots are getting a seventh-round selection in the 2026 NFL Draft in return for Godchaux, as first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
A Louisiana native who spent his college career at LSU, Godchaux first entered the NFL as a fifth-round draft pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2017.
