Here are some half-baked thoughts and knickknacks (AKA NickNacks) I came up with while watching the first half of the New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts on Sunday:
-- The Patriots offense caught a huge break when tight end Hunter Henry returned to the field. The veteran tight end took a vicious shot to the head from Colts linebacker E.J. Speed, who led with the top of his helmet on a shot to the head. The play did not draw a flag from the officials. You can watch the hit here.
