Maybe a rebuild is in order for the New England Patriots, and it’s not hard to understand why that’s a good idea after the face of the franchise, quarterback Tom Brady, left the organization in free agency to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Some may argue head coach Bill Belichick should start his “Tank for Trevor Lawrence” campaign this upcoming season, hoping to somehow land Brady’s replacement in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Yet the 2020 NFL Draft is only a few weeks away, and another argument would be New England’s defense is still too good to simply allow the idea of a rebuilding season to crawl into Belichick’s head.
