The Patriots announced on Wednesday that the red throwback uniform will return for two games in 2024. The team will wear the set against two AFC South foes, first in Week 6 against the Houston Texans and then in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Since the team debuted this throwback uniform in 2002, it has been worn nine times. Four of those appearances have come against NFC North opponents, including three against the Detroit Lions. Two of those (2002, 2010) were on Thanksgiving in Detroit against the Lions’ throwbacks.
