With all eyes on the NFL trade deadline, the New England Patriots have decided to add to their roster. They are using a different method of talent acquisition, however.
The Patriots are planning to sign guard Tyrese Robinson off the Minnesota Vikings practice squad, as first reported by Mike Reiss of ESPN.
Robinson, 25, was a 38-game starter at the University of Oklahoma before making the jump to the NFL in 2022. Despite his experience and ability to play both guard and tackle, the 6-foot-3, 317-pounder did not hear his name called in the draft.
