The New England Patriots will sign wide receiver Corey Coleman to a one-year deal Tuesday, a source confirmed to ESPN's Josina Anderson.
New England will be the third team in less than two months for Coleman, a former first-round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns.
Cleveland traded Coleman on Aug. 5 to the Buffalo Bills, who released him on Sept. 1. Coleman could provide depth for a Patriots receiving corps that is short-handed because of Julian Edelman's four-game suspension.
The Patriots dressed just five wide receivers -- Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett, Cordarrelle Patterson, Riley McCarron and special-teams ace Matthew Slater -- in their season-opening victory Sunday over the Houston Texans.
