Patriots to host first-round prospect Shemar Stewart on reported pre-draft visit

The New England Patriots keep showing a keen interest in the edge defenders available in this year’s draft. After setting up 30 visits with Abdul Carter, Oluwafemi Oladejo and Nic Scourton, they will also bring another highly-regarded edge into Gillette Stadium.

Shemar Stewart, a teammate of Scourton’s at Texas A&M and projected first-round draft pick, will visit with the team later this week. Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network was first to report the upcoming meeting.

Stewart, 21, spent his entire three-year college career with the Aggies. A third-team All-SEC selection in 2024, he finished his time in College Station with 37 in-game appearances and 13 starts.
