Patriots to host draft prospects at local pro day on Thursday

As part of their pre-draft preparation the New England Patriots will bring several prospects in for their local pro day on on Thursday. What all of them have in common is ties to the region, either through college, high school or hometown, and projected late-round or undrafted status.

While the total number is likely to be higher, we currently know of the following players who have been invited:

  • OT Lorenzo Thompson (Rhode Island)
  • OL Nick Correia (Rhode Island)
  • OL Kyle Hergel (Boston College)
  • OL David Satkowski (Stonehill)
  • DT Jack Daly (Florida International)
  • DL Quinn Sweeney (Springfield College)
  • ED Brian Abraham (Albany)
  • ED Kenny Dyson (Bryant)
  • LB Daniel Abraham (Villanova)
  • LB Joe Andreessen (Buffalo)
  • LB Bryce Gallagher (Northwestern)
  • CB Randall Harris (New Hampshire)
  • CB Jason Maitre (Wisconsin)
  • CB Darion McKenzie (Merrimack)
  • S Jordan Colbert (Rhode Island)

With the exception of Florida International defensive tackle Jack Daly, who has been unable to travel to New England due to adverse weather, the rest of the group is expected to work out for the team on Thursday.
