Patriots to conduct second open practice of OTAs today

The Patriots will open practice this morning for the second time during their three-week stretch of organized team activities, and it marks their sixth overall workout of OTAs.

The storylines haven’t changed all that much in the last week, though the reps split between quarterbacks Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo will continue to be a focal point throughout the offseason.

Last week, some key absences included linebackers Jerod Mayo (torn patellar) and Dont'a Hightower (torn shoulder labrum), offensive linemen Sebastian Vollmer (offseason surgery) and Ryan Wendell (offseason surgery), and defensive end Chandler Jones (hip).
