The New England Patriots‘ wide receiver room is better now than it was a day ago.
According to an NFL Draft-day report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Pats are bringing aboard 28-year-old former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee on a one-year deal.
The Jags cut Lee back on April 20 amid what looks to be a pretty massive roster shakeup down in Jacksonville. And while the financial details of Lee’s contract in New England are not yet known, one has to think head coach Bill Belichick and Co. got pretty creative engineering some money from the previously reported $1,229,895 in available cap space.
