Two members of the New England Patriots’ rookie class are set to open training camp on the sidelines.
The organization moved running back Terrell Jennings to the physically unable to perform list and linebacker Jontrey Hunter to the non-football injury list on Friday, according to the NFL transaction wire.
Both undrafted free agents continue to count on the active roster while awaiting clearance. Both are eligible to begin practicing at any point in the summer prior to the league’s cutdown from 90 to 53 players.
Jennings, 23, signed with New England after participating in rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.
