The veteran in his first year with the club explained after Tuesday's minicamp practice that it was a response to positive headlines he received after the team's first open organized team activity on May 26.
"A lot of fans were hitting me on Instagram and stuff like that, and I was like 'It's just OTAs'," Bennett relayed. "Every day you're just trying to work to get better. Right now, the plays of the season are made in the summer, whether it's workouts away from here or workouts with the team, that's when you train to make plays during the season.
