So much has been made about all of the mistakes lead personnel executive Eliot Wolf made with the New England Patriots last season—and there were plenty of them.
But there were also a couple of home run decisions by Wolf in his first year as the executive vice president of player personnel. The first decision was resisting the urge to trade down and using the No. 3 overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft on Drake Maye.
Next on that short list was the decision to trade four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Matthew Judon to the Atlanta Falcons.
