The New England Patriots have made their first move of roster cutdown week. Long snapper Tucker Addington has been informed of his release, according to a report by Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald.
Addington, 27, was on his second stint with the Patriots. The former undrafted free agent out of Sam Houston State previously spent time with the club during the 2022 season.
After starting his professional career with the USFL’s Houston Gamblers and the Dallas Cowboys, he joined the Patriots practice squad in December 2022 and was later promoted to the active roster.
