Patriots slow down red-hot Dolphins' offense, roll to a 36-7 victory

FOXBORO - Miami Dolphins coach Dan Campbell sounded a cautionary note for anyone who thinks the Patriots are merely an offensive juggernaut.

"They know how to run their (defensive) system and you lose sight of that because of the quarterback," Campbell said after his team fell to the Patriots, 36-7, last night. "Some people forget that, but we didn't forget that. You can't make mistakes against that defense."

In the two weeks since Campbell took over for Joe Philbin, the Dolphins had morphed into the Greatest Show on Turf. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill set an NFL record by completing 25 consecutive passes, while Lamar Miller rushed for 288 yards and two touchdowns in wins over the Titans and Texans.
