While the New England Patriots didn’t make a splash for a big-name wide receiver at the trade deadline, the team is reportedly adding some depth options for cheap.
The Patriots signed veteran receiver Donte Moncrief to their practice squad Wednesday. The team also signed veteran defensive lineman Ryan Glasgow to the practice squad.
The 27-year-old Moncrief is coming off a quiet season in 2019, when he caught just four passes for 18 yards over 8 total games with the Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Before that, Moncrief had a solid track record as a rotational receiver for four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and one season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
