The injury depleted Patriots made a few roster moves yesterday to help fill out the depth chart until their stars can return.
I like the addition of Johnson, as he is a small wideout out of Tulsa, who can really make some plays when give the opportunity. Johnson spent two years in Philly and one year in Houston, racking up 601 yards on 52 receptions and two total touchdowns. He is a fast and shifty guy, and he would fit perfect as a slot receiver in this Patriots offense. Obviously he would just be someone to insert into the offense as a “filler” until Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman return, but with his speed and quickness, he could do certainly do some damage.
