Patriots sign veteran offensive lineman Wes Schweitzer to reported one-year pact

A 90-game veteran will be joining the front in Foxborough.

The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with offensive lineman Wes Schweitzer on a one-year deal, according to a Friday report from NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

Schweitzer, 31, has made 62 starts since entering the league in the sixth round of the 2016 draft. The former No. 195 overall pick out of San Jose State began his run with the Atlanta Falcons before making subsequent stops with the Washington Commanders and New York Jets.

A hand injury sent Schweitzer to injured reserve last September after previously residing there in 2023 due to a calf issue.
