A September visitor to Foxborough has returned in October.
The New England Patriots signed rookie cornerback Miles Battle to the practice squad on Monday, according to an evening report from Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2.
Battle, 24, had been among the organization’s workouts last month. The former transfer from Ole Miss to Utah entered the NFL as part of the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 undrafted class. He was waived ahead of the 53-man roster deadline in August following a preseason that brought a pair of tackles between work in the secondary and on special teams.
