The New England Patriots have struggled to get much done in the passing game this season with lackluster performances from their wide receivers through the first 15 weeks of the season.
Now, New England is adding more depth to the position, as they've signed wide receiver Alex Erickson to their practice squad.
Erickson, 32, entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2016 after a collegiate career at Wisconsin where he was First-team All-Big Ten in his final year.
After leaving the Bengals following the 2020 season, Erickson has spent time with the Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders, New York Jets and Los Angeles Chargers.
