From 2019-2022, the Tennessee Titans had 11 different kickers on their roster. That problem wasn’t rectified until Vrabel’s team traded for former Patriots kicker Nick Folk. Since that deal, life hasn’t been the same in New England.
Over the last two seasons, the Patriots kicking woes have been eye-opening.
In 2023, after the Folk trade, then-rookie Chad Ryland finished last in the NFL in field goal percentage (64%). That led to the Patriots bringing in Joey Slye last offseason.
