Count former New England Patriots running back James White among those lobbying against rookie quarterback Drake Maye entering the starting lineup anytime soon. On a new episode of the Money Down podcast, he discussed why the third overall selection in this year’s draft is not a viable starting option at this point.
“Everybody calling for Maye to get in there, trying to pick apart Jacoby for all the things, find all the clips where they think somebody is running open and all that,” White said. “I’m sure Jacoby missed some throws, I’m sure he’s scrambled when he probably shouldn’t have.
