Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers arrested, reportedly faces assault, drug charges

Jabrill Peppers, a Patriots starting safety and team captain, was arrested on Saturday in Braintree and faces multiple charges, according to police.

News of the arrest broke early on Monday, with the 29-year-old Peppers reportedly facing charges of assault, strangulation, and drug possession after an altercation. He is set to appear in court on Monday.

Specifically, police — according to multiple reports — say they responded to a call at a residential address about an altercation between two people.
