The New England Patriots got one of their best defensive players back on the field on Sunday, as Jabrill Peppers made his return to action for the team.
Peppers had been out since Week 4 after being placed on the NFL's commissioner's exempt list following an arrest and charges for assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, and possession of a class “B” substance
During his return, Peppers noticeably took the field without the "C" on his jersey, which signified his captain status. After the game, the safety addressed the change.
