Rhamondre Stevenson did the hard running and heavy lifting in the Patriots’ 16-10 season-opening victory over the Bengals.

He gained 120 yards — 60 in each half — on 25 carries, set the tone for the upset and the first victory of Jerod Mayo’s head coaching career with the first touchdown of the season, and closed out the win with some ferocious and shifty running as the Patriots ran out of the clock.
