Patriots Rumors: Bill Belichick Wants to Coach Patriots After Tom Brady Retires

The latest Patriots rumors are that head coach Bill Belichick wants to coach the Patriots, even after Tom Brady retires, Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report reported Tuesday. Belichick has been the Patriots coach since 2001, a year after Brady was drafted by the team in the sixth round.

Sources from inside the organization told Freeman that Belichick wanted to be the Patriots’ coach for “at least five more years.” Belichick turns 65 in April.

The Patriots have won all five of their Super Bowl titles under Brady and Belichick. Belichick also won two Super Bowls as the defensive coordinator of the New York Giants in 1986 and 1990.
