- The Patriots are trading cornerback Duke Dawson to the Denver Broncos, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Friday morning. Dawson, drafted 56th overall in 2018, has yet to make his NFL debut due to a hamstring injury. He played in all four preseason games this year, registering three tackles and one interception. The competition in the secondary was steep, with fellow 2018 draft pick Keion Crossen also battling for a spot.
