Patriots rookie WR JaQuae Jackson carted off the field with leg injury

Patriots receiver JaQuae Jackson left Thursday’s preseason game against the Eagles with a leg injury sustained in the fourth quarter.

Jackson left the field in a cart. Patriots defensive lineman Deatrich Wise Jr. threw a towel over his face.

The Patriots quickly announced that Jackson would be out for the remainder of the game with a leg injury.

The 6-foot-1, 184-pound rookie receiver has one catch this preseason, but it was a memorable one. He scored on the 38-yard touchdown pass that Joe Milton threw in the opener against the Panthers.

The injury occurred on an incomplete pass from Joe Milton III that was nearly picked off.
