Patriots rookie reveals significant injury he suffered in 2024

The New England Patriots selected offensive tackle Caedan Wallace in the third round of last year's draft out of Penn State with the hopes of the rookie starting in 2024.

After veteran offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor left the team after his Week 1 benching, Wallace played 11 offensive snaps in Week 2 and started in Week 3.

However, an injury in Week 4 after just three snaps landed him on injured reserve and cost him 11 games (12 weeks) of his rookie year.

With the season ending on Sunday, Wallace finally revealed the severity of his injury, saying that he suffered a severe high ankle sprain and a fractured fibula in the team's Week 4 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
