Patriots rookie receives harsh message from team after disappointing season

The New England Patriots are not holding back on their criticisms of players.

Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf spoke publicly about the team for the first time since training camp last August.

Wolf discussed the disappointing 2024 season and took ownership at how poor the team’s roster and performance was last season.

"Last season – ultimately, the roster – was on me," Wolf said at the NFL Scouting Combine, per the Boston Globe.

One disappointing topic of discussion was rookie wide receiver Ja’lynn Polk’s unproductive rookie season.

When asked about how he views the rookie receiver’s lack of production on the field, Wolf had one thing to emphasize.
