During the 2024 NFL draft, the New England Patriots turned down multiple trades for their third-overall selection and took North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye.
After sitting the first five games of his rookie season, Maye took over as the starter for the team's Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans and has started every game since.
While the Patriots have only won two games that he's started (and one of those he was knocked out of due to a hit to the head), it's evident that Maye is running the offense much better than Jacoby Brissett had been.
