The most popular owner in the history of New England sports is teaming up with one of the region’s least favorite opponents.
According to the New York Post, New England Patriots owners Robert Kraft and Jonathan Kraft hosted former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and actress/singer/model Jennifer Lopez his last week at Gillette Stadium and Patriots Place to officially form a partnership. Rodriguez and Lopez, who are engaged, are leading a group that is attempting to purchase the New York Mets. If they’re successful, Kraft would be involved developing a Mets mall that would be comparable to Patriots Place, the outdoor shopping mall and restaurant complex connected to Gillette Stadium.
