Trent Brown played seven offensive snaps in the New England Patriots’ season opener against the Miami Dolphins before a calf injury left him ruled questionable to return.
But the updated outlook is positive for starting right tackle.
Brown, 28, has been diagnosed with a minor calf strain and will be considered “day to day” by the Patriots, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday evening.
The 6-foot-8, 380-pound bookend was seen standing on the sideline with a heavy wrap on his right calf after exiting during New England’s initial drive at Gillette Stadium.
