The New England Patriots’ search for a new defensive coordinator is officially underway. Ryan Crow, the current outside linebackers coach with the Miami Dolphins, is the first person linked to the vacant position on Mike Vrabel’s staff.
According to a report by Mike Reiss of ESPN, the Patriots have requested to interview Crow for the open spot. For him and Vrabel, that interview will be a reunion of sorts.
The two, after all, have an extensive history that goes back to 2018. That year, Vrabel brought Crow to the Tennessee Titans as a defensive assistant.
