The New England Patriots are reportedly signing linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson to a one-year, $5 million deal, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Chaisson is a former first-round draft pick out of LSU who has bounced around to multiple teams since entering the NFL in 2020. He was initially drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he's had short stints with the Carolina Panthers and Las Vegas Raiders as well.
Last season, he recorded 32 tackles, five sacks, a forced fumble, two pass deflections and an interception with the Raiders.
This could be an opportunity for Chaisson to find his footing again, as he works under head coach Mike Vrabel and defensive coordinator Terrell Williams.
