The Patriots continue to add to Jerod Mayo’s inaugural coaching staff amid the post-Bill Belichick overhaul.
Ben McAdoo, former head coach of the Giants (and who most recently worked as offensive coordinator of the Panthers during the 2022 season), is set to join New England’s staff as an offensive assistant coach per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
McAdoo, 46, will be linking up with Alex Van Pelt on the team’s new-look offensive coaching staff. Van Pelt, the recently-named offensive coordinator, overlapped with McAdoo during their mutual time in Green Bay.
In 2012-2013, Van Pelt served as Packers running backs coach, while McAdoo coached the quarterbacks.
