The Patriots’ coaching staff and those working closest to Drake Maye will further change in 2025.
Browns offensive assistant Ashton Grant has been hired by the Patriots to be their quarterbacks coach, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reported Thursday.
While Grant’s age isn’t public, he’ll likely become one of the youngest quarterback coaches in the league with the hiring. He’s worked with the Browns since 2020, just three years after his senior season of playing college football.
Grant has plenty of New England ties. He’s a native of Manchester, Connecticut, playing college football at Assumption University in Worcester, starting at wide receiver for four seasons.
