Patriots reportedly offer jobs to retain Steve and Brian Belichick

Jerod Mayo has yet to be officially introduced at the New England Patriots head coach, but that does not mean he hasn’t been busy.

Since being announced the Patriots 15th head coach on Friday, Mayo has been busy behind the scenes starting to put his coaching staff together.

That includes trying to keep a pair of familiar names in house.

According to a report by Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, the Patriots have offered Steve and a Brian Belichick positions to remain with the team.

One other thing worth noting is that Belichick’s sons, defensive play-caller and linebackers coach Steve, and safeties coach Brian, have both already been offered the opportunity to return to the team for 2024.
