Two wide receivers stopped by Gillette Stadium to begin the week.
The New England Patriots hosted free agents Xavier White and Kenny Lewis Jr. for workouts, as shared by ESPN’s Mike Reiss and KPRC 2’s Aaron Wilson.
White, listed at 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, had signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted rookie in May. The Texas Tech product was waived as training camp got underway in July. He saw action in 51 games during his Red Raiders career. A nine-game starter on offense, White totaled 133 receptions for 1,524 yards, 136 carries for 754 yards and 11 combined touchdowns.
