A familiar face could be targeted as the next wide receivers coach for the New England Patriots.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the team is reportedly considering bringing in former Miami Dolphins receivers coach and Patriots legend Wes Welker for the job.
Wes Welker was an integral part of the Patriots organization for many years as a player. He caught 672 passes for 7,459 yards and 37 touchdowns during his run with the team from 2007-2012.
The Patriots parted ways with Tyler Hughes after the 2024 season, leaving an opening for a new assistant.
