The quarterback depth chart will remain at three for the New England Patriots.
The organization claimed Nathan Rourke off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday, as first reported by NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.
Rourke, 25, joins Bailey Zappe and Mac Jones in the quarterback room. His arrival on the 53-man roster in Foxborough will require a corresponding move. The British Columbia native spent one season at Fort Scott Community College before transferring to Ohio University, where he started 39 games and totaled 7,457 passing yards, 2,639 rushing yards as well as 20 receiving yards.
